My Experience with Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipstick: Colorbar velvet matte lipstick comes in a simple packaging with colored ends which makes them easy to locate (NYX Round Lipsticks). The texture is creamy and glides smoothly on lips. It has amazing pigmentation with 6+ lasting power with heavy meals. The finish is not a drying matte, but has a bit of creaminess to it which I like a lot. Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipsticks are available in a wide shade selection- there is something for everyone in here.

Oh my Magenta: is a lovely magenta shade-it’s a fairly neutral pink, neither too warm nor too cool. It’s a bright wearable shade. The shade is one of those universally flattering deep pinks that bright up the complexion without being loud or overly bright. I had highly recommended this shade to everyone.

Cons:

·        It is not transfer-proof.

·        Will not suit dry/chapped lips.

Overall Verdict: Colorbar velvet matte lipsticks are smooth, creamy, long staying matte finish lipsticks that are not overly drying and comes in a huge selection of shades. The lipstick does not settle on lines or bleed and the tint stays on the lipstill taken off with a cleanser. The shade Oh my Magenta is a bright neutral pink or magenta that adds life to the face when worn alone.

The price, pros and the lovely selection of shades has made this lipsticks quite popular.

I will recommend this shade to all medium toned girls…

Today I’ll be reviewing Colorbar Velvet Matte lipstick in shade ‘Bare’.

My Experience with Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipstick: These lipsticks are a best budget product from Colorbar and one of the best budget lipsticks I’ve tried. Colorbar velvet matte lipstick comes in a simple packaging with colored ends which makes them easy for locating (similar to NYX Round Lipsticks). It is quite creamy and moisturizing being a matte lipstick, with a subtle vanilla smell. It lasts really long, even survives through heavy meals, leaving a nice pink tint, very near to my original lip color, till I take it off from any mild cleanser. It works well on pigmented lips and would look good on just about every skin tone. The formula doesn’t bleed or settle into lines.

BARE is another congenial shade like the Maybelline Color sensational My Mahogany, a brownish pink with a hint of orange/peach. It’s a blend of peach, brown & pink. It looks more peach on my lips in the day time, while more pinkish in artificial light, and gives matte finish to the lips. It appears lighter and more on the nude side. The shade is quite versatile- when worn alone, it brightens up the face and it can also be worn lightly as a stain paired with smokey eyes.

Pros:

·        Gives opaque coverage in just one swipe.

·        The shade ‘Bare’ would compliment all types of skin tone and it adjusts itself according to your tone.

·        Does not bleed or get uneven/patchy.

·        Versatile shade that can be worn with a variety of eye makeup.

·        It has strong staying power of over 5-6 hours and surpasses heavy meals.

·        It is quite creamy and moisturizing being a matte lipstick and didn’t dry out my lips much.

·        Comes at a very reasonable price and available in a huge array of 45 shades to choose from, though all the shades are hardly available at one place.

·        Comes in a nice attractive packaging with a shade indicator at the bottom which is really helpful, if you own too many shades from this range.

Cons:

·        It is not transfer-proof.

·        Not good for dry/chapped lips.

Verdict: I am currently obsessed with this lipstick. I would love to try out many more amazing shades from this range. I recommend this to you, as they are great quality matte lipsticks at such unbeatable price. If you are looking for a nice mlbb shade which gives rich color, stays on longer and is not drying like other matte lipsticks. There’s a shade for everyone in this range and unless one suffers from very chapped lips, everyone should definitely try at least one shade from this range.

I will recommend this to all fair/medium toned women.
